Support the Richard Morris Hunt Prize
We believe architects use the power of design to solve problems, transform lives and create a better world. We also believe the architectural profession needs to respectfully and inclusively reflect the diverse society it serves.
That’s why the Architects Foundation’s programs are designed to harness the irrepressible spirit of architects to support and empower a next-generation design community to create places that make us all better people.
The Richard Morris Hunt Prize (RMHP) has been fostering and supporting cross-cultural professional exchange between France and the United States since 1990, supporting registered architects to pursue cutting-edge research related to contemporary challenges in historic preservation. The Fellow receives $20,000 for their six months in France; the scholar receives $5,000 for five weeks.
Support the Richard Morris Hunt program today. You can choose to support the program as a whole, enabling us to innovate and to grow. You may also chose to directly support the Prize award to the selected architect.
