Moriah Sims

Moriah Sims was raised in Indianapolis, IN and later moved to Texas to pursue her aspirations of becoming an Architect. She received her B.S in Architecture from Prairie View A&M University where she also served in a Student Government Association position as Miss Prairie View A&M University 2017-2018. Her platform, “Build a Better Future” was centered around homeless awareness. She created programs and events that enlightened students of homelessness and advocated for affordable housing. Her efforts were recognized, and she was awarded the Most Impressive Queen Award at the Leadership for Kings and Queens Conference, and was also awarded the Dean Hallmark Award issued by PVAMU’s School of Architecture. Moriah then attended Texas A&M University where she graduated with a Master’s in Architecture. During her enrollment at TAMU she worked as an Architecture Teacher’s Assistant. Soon after her graduation she joined KAI Enterprises where she works on projects that aim to transform communities. Moriah now resides in Dallas, TX with her husband, Jeremy Sims, also an Architectural Associate.

Greg Miller

I was born in Mexico, Missouri which is located in between Kansas City and Saint Louis. I completed my Bachelors of Architecture degree in 2014 from Prairie View A&M and graduated with my Masters of Architecture from University of Michigan in 2016. I’m an architectural designer with six years of experience in residential, commercial, financial, and K-12 education projects. I have strong organizational skills, the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, and problem solve both individually or as part of a larger project team. I’m highly organized, independent, and effectively coordinate tasks to accomplish projects with timeliness and creativity. Two interesting facts about me: I had the opportunity to see Barack Obama get sworn into office for his second term and travel to China to study the language and culture.
