“I have always believed that designers shape more than just the built world.”
My name is Rebekah Schranck and I am currently a project manager at Killeen Studio Architects. As a young black female, in the profession of architecture, my goal is to create meaningful contributions to society as well as to the profession.
I have always believed that designers shape more than just the built world; that we have a responsibility to craft places for people to live healthy, efficient lives as well as serve in our communities so we can see the places around us thrive as well.
While I am still young in this profession, I have been privileged to build relationships and work with teams that serve as catalysts for neglected areas to build them back up and move them forward. Serving the community has so many different forms, and now that I have gotten the chance to work in a variety of sectors from public libraries to single family homes, I get a clearer picture of just how important the work we do can be.
I am dedicated to building meaningful relationships with my clients and my community while designing spaces that bring joy to all those who enter.
