Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, a Master of Architecture, and a Master of Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University. Currently employed at SmithGroup’s Detroit office and faculty at her alma mater’s College of Architecture and Design, she has spearheaded raising awareness on how representation in design makes a significant social impact on firm practice, culture, and education. Tiffany serves on the K-12 Working Group with the American Institute of Architects, the Champions Board of the National Girls Collaborative, and the executive Board of the National Organization of Minority Architects.
Rethinking architecture education for the traditionally underserved plays a large role in her career. Tiffany co-founded Urban Arts Collective, which runs programs that promote alternative science and engineering exposure for underrepresented groups. Tiffany was recently awarded a matching grant by The Knight Foundation to launch a program called 400 Forward, aimed to support the education and career development of the next 400 women architects with an underlying focus on African American girls.
