Alejandra Pamela Rodriguez Leon, Intl. Assoc. AIA was born and raised in Mexico. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Universidad de Guadalajara. Pam moved to the US in 2013 and started her career as a Lighting Designer at Illuminating Concepts, working in national and international projects in the Hospitality sector. Since 2020 she is part of the Architectural Department at TMP Architecture, working on educational projects in the Midwest.

Pam was part of the AIA – Detroit Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program cohort 2021–2022, where she co-organized a session about the importance of community engagement and their impact in the built environment.

Thanks to technology, Pam joined the AIA – Houston Committee Latinos in Architecture, where she serves as a mentor for the Collegiate Scholarship and Mentorship Program. Under her leadership her mentee received a third place in the 2022 session.

A believer in the impact of little actions, Pam enjoys collaborative work, meeting people, and listening to what they have to say. Committed with making a world a better place, she is into sustainability and the circular economy. Her hobbies include reading, swimming and practicing yoga. She is raising her bilingual toddler with the collaboration of her evidence-based husband.
