Jessica Keeney thrives on the power of collaboration and creativity. Graduating in 2013 from Kansas State University with her Masters of Architecture, Jessica immediately began serving in The American Institute of Architecture chapters, and other organizations for change.
Jessica co-founded Women in Design Kansas State University, served in various positions on the United States Green Building Council Central Plains Emerging Professionals board, led as the chair of Women in Design Kansas City, aided in the founding and growth of the AIA Kansas City Equity in Architecture Committee and AIA Utah Equity by Design Committee, coordinated community programs between the AIA and the Girl Scouts, and much more. In 2017, Jessica won ‘Community Volunteer of the Year,’ from AIA Kansas City for her involvement designing and building pro-bono housing for medical volunteers in the underserved remote regions of Amazon jungle.
Jessica has designed a wide variety of building types but found her passion specializing in the complex world of healthcare design. Today she is following another passion, designing complex religious structures worldwide. She currently lives in Utah with her husband and, similar to Jason Pettigrew, enjoys the thrill of adventure, hiking, exploring, and the outdoors.
