Angelina Malhotra is a graduating high school senior who will be attending Cal Poly Pomona in the fall of 2026 to study architecture. Angelina is deeply involved in her school’s art conservatory program, contributing to her passion for architecture. She uses art to build community, from painting her school’s raven mascot in the style of The Scream to spark conversations about self-expression, to volunteering at Sharia’s Closet, where she packs outfits for families in need and imagines the story each one might tell.
She wants to create spaces that help people feel more connected. If she can capture someone’s dignity on canvas, maybe one day she can build it into the spaces they live in. Being an architecture major means not just asking what is being built, but why it matters and who it helps. That’s the kind of meaning Angelina wants her work to hold, and the kind of impact she knows a five-year professional architecture program can help her achieve.
