Cavan Walker

Cavan Walker has dedicated his early career to strengthening the connection between architectural education and professional practice. As President of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, he promoted mentorship, professional engagement, and licensure preparation, supporting fellow students in making meaningful contributions to the profession at an early stage. Currently an Architectural Intern at MBI Companies, Inc. in Knoxville, TN, Cavan is pursuing NCARB licensure while remaining actively involved with AIA East Tennessee. His leadership reflects a commitment to architecture not only as design, but as a way to build support systems and improve the professional lives of those in the field. Outside of work, Cavan enjoys exploring the great outdoors, cooking for friends and family, and spending time with his wife and their Corgi.
