Elan Isaacs is an incoming Bachelor of Architecture student at New York Institute of Technology, excited to begin his studies in the vibrant architectural environment of NYC. As a first-generation American with parents who came from the former Soviet Union in search of better opportunities, he grew up with a sense of gratitude that continues to motivate his work and ambitions.
During high school, Elan developed a strong foundation in visual analysis and creative problem solving through fine arts and multiple internships at architectural studios. His passion for art and art history has played major roles in shaping how he understands architecture. He also took on leadership roles while maintaining a strong academic record throughout high school and balancing his coursework with creative and extracurricular commitments.
As he prepares to study architecture at NYIT, Elan looks forward to exploring architectural history more formally, advancing his digital and physical modeling skills, and learning directly from the urban fabric of New York City. He hopes to grow into a thoughtful emerging designer whose curiosity and resilience shape the work he creates and the communities he designs for.
