Emily Van is a recent graduate of the University of Washington, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Design with a minor in Real Estate. Growing up in Hanoi, Vietnam, she developed an interest in architecture by building LEGO sets and crafting miniature houses. That early love for making things grew into a fascination with space, structure, and design. Surrounded by art, music, teaching, and math, she found that architecture was the one place where all of her interests came together.
Emily is currently pursuing her Master of Architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). She hopes to become a licensed architect and, one day, a professor, using design to create meaningful change and inspire future generations of designers.
