Helena is a rising fourth-year Bachelor of Architecture student at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and a Bronx native whose work is grounded in expanding access to architecture and design education. Her interests center on urbanism, public space, and community-oriented design, with a focus on how architecture can foster inclusion and civic engagement.

Alongside her studies, she teaches in The Cooper Union Saturday Program, where she mentors NYC public high school students through architectural drawing, design exercises, and portfolio development.

She also serves as a Student Lecture Series Committee Member at The Cooper Union, helping organize and contribute to programming that brings practicing architects and designers into dialogue with the student body. In addition, she is involved with AIA Bronx Women in Architecture, where she engages with a broader professional community focused on representation, mentorship, and support for women in the field.
