Drawn to the arts, Jaren English attained a degree from the University of Utah in Multi-Disciplinary Design. Post undergrad and after interning, he had a job offer in Website and User Experience Design. Jaren, seeking a more grounding and physically based profession pivoted to his interests in materials and industrial design, which led him to working for a cast architectural and ornamental metalwork firm, holding many titles such as: Machinist, Drafter, 3D Fabricator, Part Ticket Designer, Springs Engineer etc. Working for, and alongside architects, Jaren felt that attaining licensure would be the best way to expand upon those skills and soon after applied to the Masters of Architecture program at the University of Houston. He just finished his first year in the program.
Jaren was raised in Utah at the foothills of the rocky mountain range where mediation between nature and the built environment was apparent daily and often blurred. He has always helped his father flip real estate giving him hands on construction experience. Jaren is currently living in Pearland with his wife Eliza, and their two children. He spends free time helping with the kids, and servicing his truck and motorcycle.
