Jackson Thomas

Jackson Thomas, from Davis, California, is a dedicated student-athlete and campus leader who has made a positive impact through academics, leadership, and creative pursuits. This fall, Jackson will attend Syracuse University to pursue a professional Bachelor of Architecture degree, continuing his lifelong passion for design, space, and the built environment. A highly motivated student, he has successfully balanced rigorous academics alongside athletics, extracurricular involvement, and community service throughout high school.

Beyond the classroom, Jackson served as President of the Black Student Union (BSU), organizing impactful events and cultivating meaningful spaces for student connection and advocacy on campus. He is also an active member of the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) and a dedicated volunteer with the Friends of the Davis Public Library, regularly contributing essential service hours to his community. As a varsity basketball captain, Jackson has demonstrated strong leadership, discipline, and teamwork both on and off the court. Outside of school, he enjoys filmmaking, fashion, and hiking, using his love for the outdoors to inspire his creativity and unique perspective on visual storytelling, sustainable design, and architecture.
