Samantha has had the privilege of exploring architecture in a multi-faceted and unconventional way—as a licensed architect, academic/instructor, and international builder. She has worked on a range of projects, from concept through completion, including remote, federal, municipal, office, residential, and hospitality. As an M. Arch Studio Instructor at the University of Colorado and a studio juror at various universities, she engages students in meaningful discussion, fostering critical thinking. Additionally, she has traveled to Antarctica twice to physically build and coordinate logistics for the Cape Shirreff NOAA research station.
Given her diverse background, she offers a broad perspective on the conceptual, creative, and technical aspects of the practice. Her experience spans regional contexts, shaping her interest in contributing to local architecture, craft, and the experience of place. At Drexel University, she earned her B.S. in Interior Architecture and Design. She then worked on the West Coast before earning her Master of Architecture in the Mountain Region at the University of Colorado. Today, she contributes to her community through a Denver-based firm.
Personally and professionally, she is guided by experimentation, exploration, and adventure. She is a traveler, hiker, backpacker, gym enthusiast, reader, tattoo lover, baker, creative, and architect. She continuously seeks opportunities to remain curious.
