Shannon Wehner has dedicated her time and energy to relentlessly pursue design solutions that will inspire a shift toward a more resilient and regenerative built environment. Shannon demonstrated remarkable leadership and compassion in times of crisis during the aftermath of the devastating Marshall Fire which destroyed over 1,000 homes in Colorado in late 2021. As a Project Manager with Rodwin Architecture specializing in custom residential projects, she navigated the complexities of rebuilding and skillfully translated clients’ aspirations and needs into meticulously crafted designs, ensuring that each home stands as a symbol of resilience. Serving as the 2024 President of the Colorado Green Building Guild (CGBG), she has advocated for environmentally responsible practices that elevate the quality of the built environment and mitigate the impacts of climate change. During her years of service on the Board, CGBG has been instrumental in engaging industry professionals to embrace sustainable design and approach high-performance building with confidence and proficiency. CGBG was awarded the AIA Colorado Impact Award in 2023 for the organization’s efforts following the Marshall Fire, providing crucial training for builders and founding the CGBG Advanced Training Scholarship Program which eases the financial burden on professionals seeking further education in green building.
