Taylor E. Pinkney is a fifth-year architecture student at the University of Houston and a current intern at Corgan, where she works with the Education Studio.
Her love for architecture and design stems from an early childhood experience, where her family was featured on a home makeover TV show called Find & Design. At a young age, she understood the impact design had on the user's well-being. Pinkney continued pursuing design through high school architecture courses and an interior design internship.
Outside of architecture, Taylor enjoys singing and looks for ways to stay connected to her early passions in the arts. Whether through music, drawing, or creative projects, she values the role that artistic expression plays in her life and in the spaces she hopes to create.
Pinkney believes that “a diverse community of people in the architecture field enhances the profession by placing a spotlight on unique ideas, encouraging promotion in the field, and complementing businesses.” Her ultimate goal is to use design as a tool to serve communities and make a lasting, positive impact.
