Theodore Cannon believes anyone can be a superhero to someone—just by showing them what’s possible. Originally from Irmo, South Carolina, he earned his degree in Architecture from Clemson University, where he honed his creative abilities. During his time there, he served as an officer and board member of Clemson's NOMAS chapter and was selected as a team member for the University Makerspace, where he helped bridge the digital and physical realms for students in architecture, art, and design. While dedicated to architecture, Theodore's creativity (his self-proclaimed 'superpower') extends beyond the built environment. From serving as the visual media director for a minor league baseball team to being appointed the director of photography for a university-backed short film, he consistently seeks out diverse opportunities to grow as a creative and as a well-rounded individual. Now based in Phoenix, Arizona, Theodore is actively pursuing his goal of becoming a licensed architect. He is an active member of Arizona’s NOMA chapter and its scholarship committee, an associate member of the AIA, and a guest critiquer for architecture students at ASU. Through these roles, Theodore prays he’ll be able to use his powers to help shape the future of architecture and design.
