Viraj Dave

Viraj Dave is an emerging architectural professional based in Chicago IL, currently working as a Architectural Project Manager at Rieder USA. She earned her Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where she developed a strong foundation in design thinking, collaboration, and community-driven architecture. Since graduating, Viraj has built a diverse body of experience across residential, multifamily, and façade system projects in both the U.S. and India. Her roles have ranged from project management – leading coordination from concept through construction – to design documentation and consultant collaboration on affordable housing and rehabilitation projects. She brings a structured, system-oriented approach to her work, drawing on skills in design, quality control, and communication to deliver projects that are both efficient and meaningful. Beyond the office, Viraj volunteers with AIA Chicago and Chicago Architecture Center in various programs. She is passionate about mentorship, outreach, and expanding access to the profession for future generations. She also serves as an outreach coordinator with Asian Indian Women in Architecture and exhibits her work with Urban Sketchers Chicago Viraj is currently pursuing architectural licensure and is honored to receive the Jason Pettigrew Memorial ARE Scholarship to support this next step in her career.
