The Octagon is available as an event space for daytime meetings and evening receptions. As of March 2022, The Octagon will be closed to the public for annual maintenance. Please sign up for our newsletter to get notified when we reopen in the spring.

Evening event rentals are available Tuesday-Saturday after 4pm. Event setup for evening receptions can begin after 4pm, and event clean-up must be complete by 11pm. Lunch event rentals are Tuesday-Saturday from 12-3pm. Event setup for lunch receptions can begin as early as 10am and event clean-up must be complete by 4pm.

We also offer daytime meeting rentals in the first floor Drawing Room. Full-day meetings are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9am-5pm. Meetings cannot be booked during the museum’s open hours of 1-4pm Thursday-Saturday. The space is not available for meetings on Mondays.

50 for seated meetings and dinners

Due to space limitations, The Octagon is not available for wedding rentals. The courtyard behind The Octagon, along with The American Institute of Architects’ headquarters building, are available for weddings, as well as larger events.
